The very prestigious "Liberty Bell Award", we received on June 26th from the State Bar Association of North Dakota. The Liberty Bell Award is the highest award that can be given to someone who is not an attorney, and was given to us on behalf of our human rights work in the Guatemalan prisons.

May 2002
The Asociación Nuestros Ahijados program received the National Ethics Award from the Universidad San Carlos, Guatemala's main national university. Specifically, this award was given by the Education Department of the Universidad in recognition of "... the ethics, morality, education, and administration" of the Asociacion Nuestros Ahijados program.
